Was there any mention of whether or not there was a cancellation penalty involved? It may have been that there was a date approaching after which there would be a cancellation penalty. I'm not sure about the semiconductor industry, but, in most other mfg. industry's such a large order(one that requires so much capacity to produce) would have a penalty clause for cancellation once it was actually scheduled into production and those production assets were no longer available to other customers.

Is the Intel cxl a fact? you're the only one I've seen post on several threads who appears to be doing anything more than speculating. Can you share more specific background info on where your info is from? Obviously new or additional spending cuts from Intel would be significant for the whole sector.
Also ASM's back-end business ASM Pacific has new wire bonder that appears early on to be taking market share from KLIC.
