I have got no Crystal ball. My wife an MD who does not know much about this stuff says, "from all the stuff I hear on TV, the US economy is fine, there is no inflation, interest rates are low and going down I think the market goes higher". I would hope she is dead wrong.

G, I do not think NSPK is a good short here. As MOT (last week) just put out out a tender to buy 30% of NSPKs shares at 30, that # would basically serve as a floor for the stock price. Now if it gets to 40, then you're talking.

An interesting play on CDRD is September 15 puts at 3/8 ask. CDRD's discount convertibles could kick in by then if they aren't rolled over again. Very limited downside if you are wrong, though CDRD will have to move up from here to have a convincing breakout.
