two points for your reflection, CR and booth:

1)CR stated he was not short yet, and i assume he is not long-
if you guys were REALLY good, you'd ride TAVA up first and then ride it down.

2)again, since you are not short yet, aren't you a bit premature here? i mean you want this stock as overextended as it can get before you make your sell; sowing doubt and scaring the uninformed BEFORE you take a position does not make sense; if you are so sure of your selves, let the stock run to unparalleled heights from which you can take your $ in the ensuing crash that you base your investment strategies on;

frankly, it is my opinion that the really good players at this game say little or nothing about their investments, they just do it- if you got to talk up/down stocks to make money, you are neither trading or investing, you are engaging in lame attempts at herd manipulation through pathetic propaganda; i expect the market on TAVA will move quite independently of anything you say, especially when you broadcast your intentions on another thread, but then maybe 'tis the power trip that derives from the illusion that YOU drove the stock down that is more pleasing than making a profit, eh?

gosh, with respect to saying little or nothing, i am breaking my training regimen, cause i really do want to be good at this game, got to be if i am going to make a living at it-

back in training

TAVA would be a good short if they keep on announcing negative earnings like ZITL did. So far, TAVA's debt has been decreasing, revenue has been increasing, company has been expanding, good news keep on coming. It would be a very bad short at this time.

If the business proves you are right in the future, it would not be too late to short. If that really happens, I will join you. But I sincerely doubt it.

Goodmorning Calcster,

Impressive to say the least. Truly impressive if these are your only three shorts in the last year and a half.

Can I ask you what first brought you to these three stocks? And also after watching them what was the deciding factor in taking your
position?

Don't take the sidekick thing seriously Calcster is was just used in reference to a one hundred post old comment by brice that you would be here next.

Let us know when your onboard.

Regards Big Guy

P.S Here Wexy Come on boy.

My second post about CR today and I promised myself I would not do it - oh well -

CR, you shorted ACLY at 27! I am dumbfounded. You and I crossed horns on this one when it was around $15.00 - probably a year ago. I remember specifically talking to you about how potential can drive a stock and that I liked ACLY for the NT/UNIX migration tools more than the Y2K stuff. You were negative at $15.00 and waited until $27.00 to make a move. What did you do in the meantime? That takes a lot of confidence. How much did you short - 100 shares?

I can only conclude that you just throw .... against the wall to see what sticks or that you like to start very early casting doubt so that you can eventually short. In any event, please keep us up to date with your strategy, I may stop fixing this code just to learn.

***OFF TOPIC***

CR,

Just curious, have you shorted ZITL again? This year?

Cheers,
