Denise, Personal attacks are not what SI is all about. It's about facts, education, sharing real information, courtesy, friendship and many other positive things. As I said, I do not care whether you are long or short the stock ... but I will not condone you, or anyone else for that matter making fallacious statements , and passing it off as fact. If you do not like that , too bad. <<Let me say it for you again: 1. ATF _is_ just another NG converter. >> IMO this is not correct .. their technology has been scrutinized thoroughly and has thus far proven to be the best of its type available. As far as I am ware, this technology is the only one that allows duel fuel (diesel/CNG) systems where there is virtually no loss in power when going from one to the other. As far as I am aware, their technology reduces ICE pollutants more than other similar technology. 2. The technology is not a big deal. He has seen many NG trucks and cars in Europe and New Zealand. IMo this is not correct - similar - but not the same. 3. Conversion kits may not be that vital or in demand. I guess it depends upon where you sit on the issue. Personally I believe highly polluted cities have got to start to do something and soon. ATF in my opinion appears to be the company that has a viable cost-effective system. You are right in that they may not ever get a significant contract - that is what SPECULATING is all about. <<4. It's going to be a bumpy road ahead for AFT. Well .. we agree here .. never said anything to the contrary. Ballard did not exactly go vertical over night either. And I will say also IMO this stock will never be a Ballard ... but that may not necessarily be bad. Those who bought it with that in mind will be disappointed ... those that bought it with expectations of future reasonable growth, IMO have made a reasonable speculative assumption. <<5. He cautions new investors. The stock is over valued. >> It appears we agree a second time ... caution while investing, whether it be ATF or Ballard or whatever is always called for. Additional Comments If this stock is all of these things - then what is your interest here other than shorting it. The same thing could be said of about 95% of the stocks on the DOW and the TSE at the moment. As I said, I do not care whether you are shorting the stock ... I appreciate contrarian views, but I will not allow statements that are misleading or wrong, go unchallenged. If that makes me a bull - then snort, snort !!!! I have heard this "I am just concerned about less experienced and younger investors" stuff more than I care to think about. There is nothing that teaches a person better, about how a stock market works, than putting their own money on the line, doing their own DD, and then reaping the rewards or paying the penalty for their efforts. That may sound harsh - but IMO that is the reality. <<But then, you're THE MAN and "I'm just a gal.">> Nope ... fact is many of the people here on SI that I personally hold in the greatest esteem, as far as their investing acumen goes, are all women. Finally - if you want to continue discussions of this nature, send them to me privately .. I am sure many here are getting tired of wading through this stuff - this is not what the ATF thread is about. MB
