Why is everyone so negative?

I don't know, it seems that everyone wants to hate this stock. Why not look for positive readings? People didn't mind when WNP bought up almost all the LMDS spectrum - while being a few "nameless investors" - I still don't know who they are. But, let CVUS get some working money from a few sources and the sky is falling. Give them a little while to clarify the news announcement. Who knows, maybe the investors want to keep their names secret as long as possible.

As to the 10K - a few people sound as if they are waiting for a good one. I really don't think so. CVUS let go of a bunch of people at the end of last year and I don't see how they had enough money to do much of a build out (and client sign up) on the internet side.

Hi guys,
I'm still watching with amusement as I have not had the guts to take a position. However I do have a lot of unfortunate experience with convertibles. The key question is what is the floor price for conversion. If there is no floor then $2 will not hold it. Because of the mathematics of floorless convertibles once they get started they tend to take out all support. If it is a floorless then even a dollar may not hold and it could easily go down to 30-50c. I have seen this happen repeatedly with bulletin board stocks and in all honesty this company doesn't sound too much better than your typical sleazoid bb company. So everything now hinges on what the convertible provision is in the loan. If it is floorless or the floor is very low I would advise everyone to get out at once. Looks like the shorts are going to get rich on this one.

<<I also do not believe that the first Morgan loan
could have encumbered the license, since the FCC gave
its license in September 1997, after the first Morgan
loan.>>

Bernard,

CVUS has had a license since 1991. The renewal in September 1997 did not change this fact. Since licenses are routinely renewed, it is perfectly plausible that Morgan had a security interest in CVUS' license prior to the renewal in September.
