Earl -- <<I get so tired of Clinton defenders echoing the same old BS about Star doing nothing.>> Try Geritol; I hear it works wonders<G>

Clinton defender, Earl? Not hardly. But I am concerned about the way the judicial branch is being further politicized. Even more by the way legal proceedings are being funded and kept alive by special interests. And most by the fact that the American people - that's you 'n me, Earl - are not being told (and most likely will never be told) of the extent to which this is occurring.

I would never say that Starr has "done nothing". I would say that what he has done bears no resemblance to what he could and should have done, and that his "investigations" bear no resemblance to professionally conducted collection and evaluation of fact.

<<What about all the Clinton cronies he's put in jail and for good reason?>>

I wouldn't think of saying that the Clintons aren't guilty of some illegal act(s) ANY MORE THAN I WOULD SAY THAT THEY ARE. I am saying that the travesty of justice conducted by Starr makes it very likely that the facts will never come out, and that if they do they will be impossible to evaluate.

Ken Starr is not known for investigative skill, Earl. His career is primarily that of PR shill for right-wing causes; he was up here in WI at the behest of our protopresidential-candidate-governor trying to convince the court to allow public funding of religious schools. He wasn't very impressive here, either. Just expensive.
