Well, it's a pretty disagreeable subject<VBG>.

Honestly, can anyone say that they could have foreseen such distracting (not to mention disgusting) turns of events? Everyone knew that Clinton had his problems, but this beats all. And I still say that the selection of Starr as IC was engineered by the White House as being in their best interests. Once again, the Republicans in the House - the strength of their political network - were outmaneuvered by Clinton's people, a la the debacle of 1995.

Where in the hell are the Republicans of my youth? Where are the Goldwaters, the Dirksens, the Eisenhowers? Where, even, are the Fords?
