Russ,

I believe the topic is on hooking up multiple monitors to a PC? And you're claiming that this is an example of a Microsoft innovation?

You should read the posts a little closer. Although I was praising MSFT progress in WIN98, the issue was Kit complaining that:

What makes you think that if Microsoft didn't have a stranglehold on the PC OS market that you would not have seen Win98 functionality sooner? We all sing the praises of competition and free markets - why shouldn't Microsoft have to play by the rules?

My point was :

Now should MSFT just sit around until competition ...wherever it is....catches up.

So you see Russ it wasn't about Multiple monitors or any specific new function, it was about Kit taking a stand against MSFT.

...and BTW if Steve Jobs can make peace with Gates, then I would think it is about time you and Kit can do so too.<g>
