Jim,

A while back, I rudely and callously remarked to a fine male specimen of our species that men aren't intuitive. Upon seeing his stricken countenance of righteous indignation etched upon his face, I apologized immediately and profusely, begging his forgiveness for my sexist statement and general insensitivity, for clearly he was one of the rare exceptions to the general rule that most men lack the basic skills of intuition and most seem to possess only the most rudimentary functions of intuition.

FWIW, I have encountered quite a few male Paulas, and men seem equally confounded by them as well. Con artists are not male or female specific. My experience is that MOST men are more easily conned than are women, but only partly because men tend to lack the higher skills of intuition.

Holly

But it seems that more study is required before I make the claim that gals seem to be less inclined to believe her and guys more so.

Surveys taken indicate taht taht is indeed the case.

If that were true, is it cause gals know gals better and guys know what they do to gals? I wonder.

You may be right. Certainly women tend to be extremely sceptical of women who play to the gallery (with the obvious intention of sucking up to men) as much as Paula does. News: women don't have any more difficulty controlling themselves in public than men do. If they break down, it's usually a choice, based on the knowledge that a crying woman makes most guys feel embarrassed (they'll do ANYTHING to make her stop) and protective.

Guys know what they do to gals? Yes, but they don't seem to realized taht women know what guys to do them as well. We've talked about this before: a lot of men really seem to believe that most women are mentally deficient innocents who have no idea what the opposite sex is up to. This is not true. At all.
