So are men conned by women more easily or by other men?

And are women are not conned in like fashion?

Actually I had not even considered the possible sexist nature of my question. And even now I raise my right hand and solemnly swear I
intended nor thought to allude to and in fact did not venture into any such nature. Did I?

My point was simply that women understood women better. They could see the falsehood in the eyes and read it on their lips. Men can do like wise with men, because we know men being ourselves men. We know the games we play and the darker side of our view of women. Thus in very general terms, broad brush, it seemed to me that more women are ready to condemn Paula and more men are ready to condemn Bill. In this case only.
The theory is full of holes me thinks because of the political bias factor that skews the data, if there were any to be analyzed. And I have only what my mind has stored from both reading peoples thoughts hear and listening to the radio.

Ah well, no matter it was just a thought and I think a poor one at that.

I think you are right and on firm ground about the strength of intuition being in females. Studies have shown that women are able to use both sides of their brains at once while men can only use one side at a time for analytical thought. There is a link between the brain halves that is chemically severed in males during pregnancy.

I think it's been said before, but why not say it again - this fact is reason enough for calling men half wits. But I wouldn't stand up in court and admit it. <g>

My experience is that MOST men are more easily conned than are women, but only partly because men tend to lack the higher skills of intuition.

I agree. How many times have we watched an unscrupulous bimbo wrap some poor guy around her little finger, using techniques so old and so phoney that you'd think a five-year-old would catch on? But the guy doesn't (until it's too late). It's like a snake with a rabbit.
