Is today the time to buy...seems like it is a good trading stock?

So CHKPF drop again on great numbers. The market is unpredictable so that big players can make money out of small ones.

Looking through the earning release. The only thing that disappoints me is the sequential revenue growth. But look at companies that just reported 2 days ago. Both AXNT and SCUR were down slightly from Q497. The only explanation is that CHKPF is taking some more market share.

About the expenses, there were a few questions in the CC yesterday and the management explained as the seasonal high year-end expenses in Q4. I will take that because Q4 operating expenses was unexpectedly higher than Q397 (increased 50% from Q3). So the expenses this quarter is NORMAL, in fact, well maintained. The management also expects Q2 expenses to be up due to Metainfo merger. I guess the street does not like company to save money in their early stage.

We'll have tough roads ahead. Long-term I'm still a believer of the stock. Short term it will hurt the price potential significantly. Now they have higher numbers and it will be much more difficult for them to achieve high growth next year, at least on earnings.
