Moonray,

Thanks for post. Interesting that 3Com is getting into
the DWDM technology. I'm in the process of learning
about this. I've been taking a serious look at CIEN,
and lately it seems like all sorts of players are
getting into the DWDM playing field.

This weekend I read an interesting article in Boardwatch.

boardwatch.com

Talks about all kinds of things. One of them being
that a Company's CUSTOMER SERVICE will be a prized
quality. I think COMS is pretty good with Customer
Service. I say this because I've been reading some
about COMS's relationship with the 'channel' and it
seems pretty good. Plus I just get the general
feel that Serivce is OK... (still need to check
this out better). Correct me if I'm wrong...

Joe

To the thread,

Anybody catch the game playing by ROK and
Boardwatch's coverage of the 56K modems (x2 and 5kKFlex).

I'm probably just biased since I own COMS, but it seems
like ROK is pain in the ass (also, judging by everybody's
comments on ROK).

Check out:

(Letters to the editor: READY, FIRE, AIM)

Maybe we should post this on ROK's thread?

Also, can anybody tell me where the x2 gets it's chips
from? I think it's TI...

Thanks, Joe
