If your horizon is < 30 days, then today was really bad. If your horizon is > 180 days, then today was excellent! --------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, dude: Don't understand your logic... Isn't 180 days just a string of 6 30-days ... So why is 30 days bad and 180 days good ...

I think a lot of large investors - institutional or otherwise - are willing to wait more than 180 days for Adaptec to give them good returns. I suspect there are quite a few still on the sidelines trying to decide when to buy. Remember that the market as a whole has already looked beyond the next 6 months. If it hadn't, it wouldn't be able to sustain the multiples it is now carrying. The nice thing about Adaptec is that all the bad things you can imagine have already come to pass. Earnings are bad, but they are in line with what the company has said all through this quarter. Cheers, Torben
