Christine,

I've been reading many of the posts here for the last two days and wanted to respond to many of yours. I'll make this one short and to the point, and then we can begin a dialog if you wish.

Let me start off with an introduction and then a statement. I will not try to answer the many questions you have raised in this post.

You can regard me as a closed (or single) minded person who believes the Bible is the inerrant word of God.

My statement to you and all who may read this who have a similar mindset is this: we are all sinners (definition of sin is missing the mark, therefore, all who sin miss the mark. Now what is the mark or point that we are missing? The reference point establish by God is His Word, which can be found in the Bible. God never changes, He is
the same today as He was in the beginning and always will be the same forever. Therefore His Word can be trusted for guidance and instruction on how to live.) and all sinners deserve the judgment of God that He will pronounce on each of us (separation from Him for eternity). But alas, there is good news! There is a way to avoid being separated from Him.

And with that I will end this post and await your response.

Prayerfully yours,

Tom

Christine, Jesus loves you, He died for you that you might have salvation, but you must be born again. This gives you a different nature and makes you a new creation. Also, be advised of the Scripture that says,

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals," (1 Cor 6:9 NASB)
"nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Cor 6:10 NASB)

1 Cor 6:9: Vs. 6:9 male prostitutes nor homosexuals. Paul's warning is given against the background of incest, homosexuality, pederasty, and other unnatural sexual vices that were prevalent among the Greeks and Romans. Socrates and 14 of the first 15 Roman emperors practiced homosexuality. Paul did not want Christianity confused with sects that permitted such things.
1 Cor 6:10: Vs. 6:10 People whose lifestyles exhibit wickedness, not fruit, show they are unsaved and will, therefore, not inherit the kingdom of God.

Please consider carefully what the Bible states.

David
