Pablo, you have made some good arguments. It is true that there is unrest in Jakarta and the Rupiah has been much lower and could pull-back to its low, BUT

1) the current level of unrest and monetary problems will only improve in the long-run...it is no country's best interest for the 4th largest populated country to become a wasteland. i would assume that the IMF will use their bailout tactics to get to the desired results and will never bail completely on strategically important countries or regions of the world

2)predicting currency changes is foolish. you may be right that we could have bought an ISP or telco cheaper in the near future, or you could be wrong. but, you have no more of a reason to think that the currency will move negatively versus positively

3) all of the protestors (many college students) you saw on the BBC all did one thing when they went home after a long day of yelling at Suhartas military...they had dinner and MADE PHONE CALLS!!!!

4) we have investments in russia, australia and other foreign countries...thus, we have diversified some of our risk away from anything that may develop in Indonesia that would cause abnormal, non-reoccurring financial problems

Have i made you sway even a bit?

Well, let's see, Southern California, where Digitcom has its headquarters, has survived earthquakes, floods, fires, drive-by-shootings, OJ, and...OMG...riots!

I think Indonesia will do the same.

Welcome Pablo, a new SI member as I see this is your first post...

Thank you for stating your position or potential position AS A SHORT
up front. Without a previous affiliation to SI or DGIV, what is your intention by coming on now?

Now, you say that "Tell me why is it that riots and looting have occurred in Indonesia yet none of you seem to care."
We do care, and I am sure so does JC and the entire company. BUT,
let us enumerate the salient points:

1. Student rioting has been going on in Indonesia for a long time, this is not new. Don't you think JC realizes this! Yes, he does! Communication has to still occur, and even better yet a cheaper form of communication will be even more sought after.

2. Contracts with Indonesia will be formed at an all time LOW PRICE right now,
and I am sure JC will not use US shares or unnecessary funds to finance this deal. The current climate dictates JC likely made a great deal, and that he saw there was money to be made and he went for it!

3. They bought a PHONE COMPANY- riots don't mean communication comes to a halt. Indoensia is the 4th MOST populous country in the WORLD, there are A LOT of people there who need to use the phone.

4. DGIV is an INTERNATIONAL company, NOT just an Indonesian company. We have signed contracts in RUSSIA (first IP comapny one to do so by the way), Australia, JC is currently in Vietnam, he has made contact in the Philippines, there is a European affiliation with Louis International, and who knows what else is to come. My point, if there is money to be made, why not make it?

There are just a few points to bring up, and I am sure others on this thread will contribute their share. Regardless, WE HAVE a company that is MAKING MONEY, the ONLY IP telephony company to be doing so at this time!!! We are signing contracts, guaranteeing revenues, and maintaining a GLOBAL PICTURE.

Once again, thank you for stating your position, but I am curious why you chose a drug warlord as your moniker?

Pablo, just a few of things for you to consider:
1. If you want to short us, PLEASE DO. We already have shorts that have lost over $2 million, and the rest are gonna lose much more than that. So just take a ticket and stand in line. But be aware that you are competing with professional shorters who are losing their ass.

2. I hope you have real shares to short with, because unless you are in Canada or are a MM, you can't see what you don't have.

3. The Indonesia thing: from the current edition of the Washington Post note that:

"Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund announced that its board unanimously agreed to release a $1 billion installment of Indonesia's $43 billion economic bailout."...

" The seal of approval from the IMF means that other international lenders, including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, will also disburse loans that they had been withholding."

4. Indonesian's recent crisis has been DGIV's gains, in that we have acquired companies that may have been too expensive otherwise.

5. Indonesia is just one of our entries -- we also have Russia, Australia, and I hear Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Phillipines.

6. Political turmoil is normal, rather than the exception, in today's world. You think this is bad, ask people like Brotherton who are 100% diabled Vietnam Vets. However, turmoil never halts econimic activity, it just provides opportunities. Ever hear of the German miracle after WWII? How about Japan? Ever hear of Vietnam? It is a very peaceful country now.

Heck, I could go on, but I'm tired... besides, I want you to short us!!! Put your money where your mouth is!!

Hi, Pablo, sound a good question. I read the similar questions when DGIV was at 1.5. DGIV is strong for the reason many people here just answered u. I wish U enjoy reading these responses, and come back to visit us when DGIV is $30...or join us for a ride. Just to let u know that MMs have been squeezed very hard by determined DGIVers..We know what tricks they want to play with us...IT WILL NEVER WORK! I will tell them to cover their shorts quickly, and leave DGIV alone.

Take my word: "DGIV is the leader in the IP company involved in international Tel.business" and read today' Bloomberg news. U will get the answer

Pablo:

Your observations re: Indonesia are cogent ones. But so are these:

1) Yesterday, The IMF freed up 1B to Indonesia. They did it because they believe the government is committed to change. This is based upon
2) Suharto divesting some of his family's and crony's holdings. Not nearly enough in my opinion( should be all ), but its a start.
3)Subsidy reductions are essentially what's causing the rioting --unfortunate to be sure--- but also signaling the private sector, there and abroad, that Indonesia is opening up. This, not so incidentally, is also restoring monetary integrity i.e. bolstering the rupiah.
4) Finally, because of all this change, international attention to Indonesia has been at its highest water mark ever, both politically and economically.

No, this is finally: I find it puzzling that --correct me if I'm wrong-- that your basing your short position exclusively on one country where DGIV is doing business( aside from the fact that people still gotta talk )....or is there something more?

OK..now I really mean finally....Pablo Escobar? Wasn't that the name of a Colombian drug lord? Just curious.

Byron.... I think this is a good place to enter.I have been locked out all day.I notice no move in the price. I notice this guy likes to play with us.I also know they did not fill my orders at 7.75 10,000 sh. I think it is time to quit playing with these as-h---- and see what the hell they want. Now lets look at what we are doing.I think our total share count is about 4,200,000sh in our hands. There is only 5,300,000sh for sale ? So we have about 1,000,000 sh on the market.I'm willing to buy 100,000 at 8.00 And I would like you to call for a count on what we ALL COULD buy. Then make them an offer and get them out.I own a company and I don't need any Investors. lets just worry about keeping the company in our hands and collecting the dividends I think we would make a lot of money just getting a check every month.. Just like the lotto. Bad Bill D.
