K,

The real problem, as I see it, is that the government is now interfering with a companies ability to do business. If the government can do this to Microsoft, it can do it to any company! We all know and appreciate how well the government handles our money. Let's see now, the government - federal and local - are using my tax money to 'fight' a company whose product that I use. That company has to pay lawyers from profits made by selling their products to people like me! I can't help but feel that I am paying for both sides of this argument, and frankly, I DON'T LIKE IT!

Regards,

Ken

PS - Lawyers get richer!

Kevin,re:"win98...U.S economy". Maybe it's good to "slow down" the
bubble growth. Bill Gate can control the U.S. economy better than
Alan Greenspan.

Kevin,re:"win98..". On 2nd thought, it's better not releasing win98
for 6 months. It'll really help cool-down the economy. Maybe DOJ is
working with Alan Greenspan on this.

With or without win98, when people buy the cheap PC, they buy MSFT
product and later upgrade.

I don't believe the foreigner software can beat MSFT in PC's OS
market.

Then again, if it does happens, it should help U.S since there will
be cheap software to increase productivity and good for ALL U.S
corporation in the WORLD.

C'mon, Bill, you know that software jobs will be shifted to oversea
sooner or later. Thanks to MSFT and the cheap hardware (PC and WS).

It looks like Microsoft insiders are starting to take this seriously. Look who's selling. (I didn't see where anybody had posted this yet)
