I don't think that the death knoll on Be There! has sounded yet. Anyway IMO RACE may be close to creating a solution which will allow internet service providers (ISP's) to provide residential internet service to their customers without tieing up phone/fax lines. In other words- you don't need to pay for that extra phone line as long as you are willing to have some minor decrease in data transmissions when the occasional call comes through while you are on the internet.
These ISPs would be able to provide internet service not at the cost of a phone line plus $20.00 per month- but simply for $20.00 per month. Neat hunh?

From your favorite company:

During the quarter ended March 31, 1998, the Company also revamped its sales and marketing collateral material [brochures and pamphlets], redirected its marketing efforts from broad-based advertising to focused seminars and trade shows, restructured and enhanced its sales and technical certification training program, and made numerous other changes. The Company is pleased with its recent success in attracting high-caliber new salespersons. [50 caliber? I guess everybody is "high-caliber" if you were to ask them]

Daniel, you have to seriously wonder about a company that highlights the printing of few marketing brochures in the 10Q but that's nothing compared to using the use of the phrase numerous other changes. The time for obscure generalities has long past but apparently they haven't learned that lesson.
