Bruce, the 300k concerns me too. It is possible that the 2.1 is an old number and by now has been spent. Someone mentioned 1,000,000 customers lined up and that worries me as well, San Paulo (from memory) is an 11 MM metropolitan city. I have visited this city and I doubt that more than 10% of the population can really afford the cost, since there are competing systems (inlcuding Telebras own cellular) I wonder where this number came from. Usually, there is a major cost in enlisting a subscriber to a new telecon system (in the US this cost sometimes exceed $100 per subscriber, look at the "fribies" MCI and Sprint give away to lure new subscribers, the free phones cellular companies give away etc). This forces me to doubt the number. If this number is from the company, how much credence can you put in the other numbers?
