I can see that my so whatism has gotten me into some trouble. So, let me give you another argument. There are at least fifteen major TV set manufacturers and all of them are making money. Profit margins are tight because video pricing, due to these many manufacturers keeps a close eye on prices. None of these 15 companies are going out of business because there are millions of purchasers for these products.

The firewall industry is in its infancy. Checkpoint, being one of the first commanded high pricing but now with the big three rattling around, all that's going to change. It had to. So what? More firewallers, more buyers.

Of these 15 TV manufacturers some are niche players, selling very pricey TV sets or front projection units. For some reason they are surviving. Why not CHKPF, yes, a niche player and the top dog. If it can't compete, it will get bought out. If it can compete, we'll be able to sleep better at night.

Bill: Thx for pointing out that there are 3 major players wanting to carve up CHKPF's market. There is a good chance that revenue and margins may be squeezed.

Does anyone know if CHPF is diversifying into other fields to offset
any possible decline due to the Predators now gathering.?
