Leeza, thanks for the info on Stix (Cowen) and ISPCON. Nice week for ASND -- should be a nice next 9-12 months. New products and contract announcements, SuperComm in early 6/98, earnings in mid-7/98 which include the "killer switch" earnings for the first time and 9/98 LU anticipation. I'm looking forward to it all. djane

I am not sure if I should be happy about the Cascade buyout. Going into the merger I had more Cascade than Ascend shares. The merger announcement was delivered together with an Cascade earnings warning that would have provided a very nice buying opportunity for Cascade stock. And the Cascade business has higher growth rates than Ascends remote access and it recovered earlier.

I have some former Cascade shares at the equivalent of $102 per Ascend share. Thanks to several rounds of averaging down my overall position is now profitable but is still seriously lagging behind the S&P500 performance.
