I wouldn't be badmouthing GM too much Geek, production of many models of their cars and a great deal of universal GM component manufacturing are responsible for a nice part of your nation's GNP. gmcanada.com

WS,

I'd certainly favor Mitsubishi or Nissan over Pontiac, mainly due to build quality. You might also consider BMW. The latest edition of the Z3 features good looks AND power.

If you haven't already, check out www.edmunds.com. Edmunds provides quite a bit of free road test information in addition to long term test results. They also have up-to-date pricing information which you might find useful.
