Bought at 33 thinking it was a bottom. Should have followed the 8% rule and sold at 30 but I really believe in this company.

It's clear that the selling pressure is not due to the Microsoft threat alone. If so the stock would have recovered better when various articles confirmed that the Microsoft situation was pure speculation.

If I knew about the press release I might have gotten $29 or maybe even $30 tomorrow, but I don't think this will be a trend reversal just yet. CHKPF couldn't go up in a strong market .. now with the market teetering on the verge of a correction, I don't think we're going to see 40 any time soon.

Although I agree in the longer term ... .I disagree strongly in the shorterm (other than a small short blip up). There is substantial selling of this stock .... and its not over yet.... Need to get some brockerage buy recommendations to equalize the selling pressure. The sellers are chasing the price downward during the day.
