I don't think RACE is salvageable. I believe that Barker is desperate. It's time to face facts. Be There hasn't panned out, and won't pan out. RACE has no fallback strategy. We've gone over the inadequacies of the product before. Even if you disagree with my assessment of the product, I think you'll find it hard to find fault with my logic concerning the mood of the current marketplace.

No IM group in its right mind is going to go out and purchase a system that does, in fact, contain proprietary technology from a company on the verge of dissolution. BT isn't cheap and anyone considering BT would have to ignore the fact that support would evaporate in the likely event that Data Race ceased to exist.

You try and call someone at Intel - you'll get their IR or PR people.
You call Data Race and you can generally get a return call from who you called for.

If the choice is between Intel's and DR's performance, I hope DR never talks to another individual investor.
