What kind of faith would THAT require? Because it does you know. or Are you of the opinion that because we have "feelings" there must be some sort of a God? Listen, Genesis 1:1 IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH. look around at the heavens , they declare His Glory. Who can stand in such majesty and declare there is no God? i would feel sorry for such a person. yet there is a very clear and present danger. there is an evil one loose on the earth. he goes about like a roaring lion seeking to devour. Yet God has prepared for him from the beginning of time. because of mans own sin He sent the only perfect sacrifice there IS. JESUS, oh my Jesus. Dear Ann; God came to earth, as this was the only way he could make people understand. He lived the life he expects before their eyes. He died, and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures. Well over 500 witnesses saw him, they ate with him, they dedicated their lives to him and in many cases died for their testimony. This is evidence. A man will not die for a lie. All these men had to do was to renounce this "lie" and they would have avoided being lion food. Dr Simon Greenleaf, the worlds foremost expert on legal evidences from Harvard University explains that the resurrection of Yeshua is the most proven event in ancient history. Because Yeshua knew he would not be with us forever on earth, he caused and inspired men to record these events. Many were eye witnesses, and say so in the Gospels. John affirms he was there and tells us if he recorded everything Yeshua did it would fill all the books of the earth. Calling him and hundreds of other witnesses liars seems to go against everything you have written on this thread I do not belive this is what you think. He caused these writings so that you and I could know the truth about him, so that we would not have to depend on women and men to tell us what they think, and so we could correct errors that people invent in their minds about him. Every time you tell someone the date of the year, you are testifying to his life, as even our calenders are based on him. Many great women and men have done wonderful, world changing things in his name. Some misguided people have also done harm. He is not to blame for these things. There is more evidence about him than I could or should type now. The problem is you do not believe it. Belief does not change facts, which really is the basis of your argument. I encourage you to look into these matters for yourself, as I agree you should not trust anyone about God. Trust him only, he loves you and will not let you down.
