Guess maybe it is time for a stupid question? Yes, I am full of them.

The V-stop or the pivot points etc....how is this stuff determined and is it availabe on the net, or does one need a BMI feed or something.

Is there a good book that can bring me up to speed on this stuff? I got all the typical stock TA sites and books, but some of the terminology I am running into when discussing the futures has me a bit baffled. It seems the TA is a whole new language...again.....

PS - Yes, I know there are no stupid questions, but if the above qualifies I appreciate your not bringing it to my attention! <<gg>>

Pat, Yes, that was me on RealTraders, although I left that forum several months ago...just too time consuming and unfortunately, contentious, to my liking.

>Have you analyzed your data to provide a ratio of longs vs. shorts and during what phase of the market the ratios fall into?

We did some initial studies on this and designed the Model to more easily trigger signals in the direction of the trend in periods of sustained market strength or weakness.

>I'm wondering if your data could be biased with regard to high success rates during periods of bullish trend

Our short signals throughout this incredible bull market have performed about in line with the buy signals, including a home run last October 27.
