Jules/ALL,re:"ML/tk". Please have sympathy on this guy. He may have
a gun at his head by the NEW MAFIA or something of that nature.

Basically, I believe he is UNDER GUN of some sort.

Jules,

Intel's management must find a solution to this problem. Intel has to
realize that the increased volatility in their stock price, caused by this analyst's comments, is
not serving their investors, or themselves, well.

I have no problem with curbing Kurlak (if that were possible, but I disagree with your comment that investors aren't being served well.

Kurlak's comments only effect the stock in the short term. This is great for buyers, neutral for holders, and bad for sellers.

As a holder, and occasional buyer, I can't get too upset.

Of course I prefer the wealth effect of a higher stock price. :-)

Larry

Jules,

Thanks for your analysis.

While I disagree with Kurlak's opinions, I have found that these kurlakian moments are a good time to buy calls. They are almost always profitable - in the relatively short term.

I believe you are right on the money. Intel should take this guy on. An op ad in the wall streeet journal about irresponsible reporting by Merrill Lynch would be a good start.

This is very upsetting for investors who want some consistency in a grown stock. I am sure there are many investors who shy aware do the the erratic behavior lately.
