DELL down $5 two days before earnings announcement? Wonder if it could be partially due to
MMs "shaking the trees".

Sounds *just* like what MMs would do!

Bachman, I can't tell whether this is tongue in cheek or serious. If you are serious, pls spell out how you think the MMs are able to manipulate the price and gain an advantage.

Geoff

BTW, I appreciated the posts in which you said you have always observed MD to exhibit a high level of personal ethics, and as someone whose words can be trusted . Those were great posts! I hope you won't ever think you raise that issue too often.

ibn3,

A typical option expiration day! I've seen it so many times, it makes me sick!

But there is something that I don't understand:

In our everyday life, we practice certain kinds of behavior that we're not very proud of. In our circle of influence, we do our relatives, friends, or co-workers undeserved favors, and expect favors returned. It's a flaw within all of us. Some can control or correct it better than others, nevertheless, it's part of our human nature.

...Then how is it that when it comes to people involved in the equity market, we naively think of them (you know who "them" are!!) as an exception?!

...And as for some of the people who sold their DELL's shares today- it must be the smoke from Mexico's forest fires clouding your judgment.
