Can someone tell me what's different in Winstone 98 vs Winstone 97?
Winstone 98 seems to be biased toward Intel Processors, particularly the Pentium II, compared to Winstone 97.

<So to say, "the PII easily out performs the K6-x clock for clock" is just plain inaccurate.>

Well consider your position. A non shipping K6-3D can be shown to be not too far behind a shipping 4th string Intel processer when you compare only 1 benchmark (which shows off the K6 in it's best light) running under Win95 (which shows off the Intel processor line in it's worst light). If this swells your chest with pride then who am I to deny you this pleasure.

Kevin - Re:" Not to mention the K6 is MUCH cheaper."

Pricewatch lists the K6-300 at $232 - and that IS NOT EVEN TH K6-3D!

The 300 MHz Pentium II is listed at $253. And this price INCLUDES THE 512 Kilobyte L2 cache, which the K6-300 price DOES NOT!

Both numbers are the lowest listed prices.

Your conception of "MUCH CHEAPER" needs to be altered.
