I think First Call had news on CHKPF today. I can't get it, but if anyone can, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Colby

Take a rest Mr. Resta, our system keeps track of the exact volume being traded when a MM is at either the bid or the ask. And indeed he has been an aggressive seller for the past week. So whether he is selling for several people or just a few of his big clients who may indeed be trading this stock back and forth who knows. But someone out there wants out of this stock at these prices (and at the current rate its putting more downside pressure on this stock), and someone else is maintaining this price without letting this stock fall like a rock. This person could be waiting to distribute his shares at higher prices, who knows, who cares.

About GSCO on the bid side, its not important unless he sits there and absorbs the selling this is the only way he is considered to be buying. He could be on the bid side all day 25 times and on the ask only 5 but what counts is the ratio of trades at the time he was at each side. He might have sold 250,000 shares when he was at the ask 25 times, but only 14,000 shares was absorbed by him at the bid when he was there only 5 times. Does this theory make sense to you. It doesn't have to, its they way the market operates.

Also, I been reading this thread these past few weeks, and sure its easy to manipulate a stock, especially one that has a low float. I guess you must also believe that all brokerage houses are on the up & up. It's no wonder you have a hard to trying to accept the fact that these things can happen...Open your mind and try and imagine, it will take you further in your quest for knowledge..

So telling people that this theory is bogus, is a false claim. Sure some people tend to get carried away, but the truth is it can happen, and at this time it is happening.....

What can we do, probably nothing. Do you believe in the company is what we ask ourselves...
