Well. I never did speculate about B. Clinton's drug use although given R. Clinton's convictions I'd say it was more than speculation. But again, I haven't ever even mentioned R. Clinton. I accept your apology.

Some on this thread may give no quarter although I would not question motives, however, I suspect that we lost the Clintonistas because it is very uncomfortable trying to reconcile all the "dirt" with the facts. After listening to all the clap trap about the Reagan Bush decade of greed, numerous IC witch-hunts targeting Repubs, "borking"etc., its just a little too much to ask people of a mind like mine to be totally even handed when presented the opportunity Clinton and the most ethical administration in history present. I don't generally start to throw rocks unless I get hit with one first. You reap what you sow. As you may recall, I did try to discuss the dirt and rationally but I was told it was irrelevant or none of our business or not related to job performance. When I asserted the contrary, the name calling started. I like a discussion but one which addresses fairly not only the points made to me but also by me. IMO, that's why our liberal friends are gone. Their ideas must have started to look ridiculous in print even to them. No matter, I suspect the Repubs will enjoy the last laugh. I suspect Starr's report will be delivered this month. JLA
