To all technicians...

I have been long INVX for a while -- at a split adjusted price of $7. When INVX was recently trading at around $25, I noticed that the price finally fell below the 50 DEMA, signaling a downfall. Instead of selling or buying puts, I decided to wait until it hit its support at around $18 and buy more. Now INVX is at $18.5, and I was just about to pull the trigger....

I had been watching the 1 year chart. I just pulled up the 3 year chart. There is a huge head & shoulders pattern that is complete. The first shoulder was formed about January 97 at a price of about $36. The head was formed about April at the all time high of $42. Finally, the right shoulder was formed around August at a price of $36. If this stock reacts according to its formation, and if the current support of $18 does not hold, it won't find its next support until INVX hits about $11 - $12.

I consider myself more a fundamentalist, but didn't really have anything more to add than what was already being discussed here. Now, are there any chartists that is willing to add their two cents. I'm no longer considering buying, and instead, thinking of purchasing puts. Any comments, welcome.

Mark,

It looks as though the number of shares shorted dropped dramatically
at the end of May. Least number of shares shorted in a year, yet the
stock still is "sucking the big one." Wonder what that means (maybe
nothing else other than the June puts being called or exercised)?
