I believe a company called Intelogis owns NEST now.

Hi Elmo: I believe the NEST program was cut off from new R&D monies and may have even been discontinued. Some of their "NEST" technology was licensed or sold to another one of those start up companies that Novell has a 5% interest in.

I think this was posted up thread about six months to a year ago. I will try to find out the current status.

I was sad to see the program discontinued as I thought it was quite interesting but it seemed to take too long to get out of the developmental stage.

Could you imagine having your electric meter (also water & Gas) read right off the power lines by an intelligent network.
