Raymond,
I do have some concerns I would like to ask you about. There are many independent reports about much persecution of Christians right know from Muslims in the Sudan, Pakistan and Egypt. If the Quran teaches so much love for Christians how can there be so much destruction of
Christians? Here is one report from the U.S. Senate on Religious Persecution;

<<Since declaring Sudan an Islamic state in 1983, the government's attempt to impose Shari'a (traditional Islamic law) has resulted in the death of more than 1.3 million people and the displacement of more than 3 million others, mostly Christian and non-Muslims.

In February 1996, Gaspar Biro (United Nation's Special Rapporteur on Sudan) reported "an alarming increase" in the number of cases of "slavery, servitude, slave trade and forced labor" in Sudan. With growing frequency, Christian villages are raided, men are exterminated, children forced into military training and women sold into slavery or relocated to concentration camps.

The Baltimore Sun reported, beginning on June 16, 1996, that two of its reporters went to Sudan and bought slaves for five hundred dollars each.

Under the Islamic Shari'a, conversion to Christianity is illegal. In August 1995, five Nuban women were sentenced to death for apostasy or abandoning Islam. In late 1995, ten persons were arrested for converting to Christianity>>

There are many other independent reports of the level of persecution of Christians from Muslims and there seems to be a consistency with this violence. I understand that is not what is written for Christianity has suffered the same problem but it was you that accused me of insulting the Muslim with unfactual information. Well here is the facts and I can give much more if needed.
How do you feel about the Nation of Islam and their relationship with Judaism?
I understand your defense of your beliefs but it would be more believable if you were little more gentle with others when expressing your understanding.
Nancy

Raymond, you are not the only person who has problems with Emile. I don't know if you lurked here before jumping in or anything, but his nickname is Evil Emile. Not everyone here is like him, though. Some of us welcome finding out more about different religious belief systems.

In America Arabs are the last group it is okay to grossly stereotype in cartoons. There is a huge lack of understanding of Arab culture, and all the contributions to science, mathematics and other disciplines that have been made by them.

I realize you are telling us about Islam, not Arabs, and that most Muslims are not Arabs. But both of these subjects are intertwined for most Americans, and I for one am glad that the discussion over here is broadening. I think it is really difficult for people to understand each other, and hopefully get along, until there is some kind of open communication and basic understanding of each others' belief systems.

"First you need to get your nose out of the anti-religious pamphlets you've been handed and actually read "the real thing" before making any accusations. It's obvious you're coming from a lot of emotion and seem to disregard the entire thought process in your post."

"The real thing" Mr. Norris. All of my quotes about the Qur'an came directly from the Qur'an. Would you call the Qur'an an anti-religious pamphlet? Now that you bring it up, the Qur'an could indeed be considered an anti-religious pampphlet against the one true religion, Christianity.

I have reproduced my exact quotes from the Qur'an below.. Are you trying to deceive further by telling the readers that these quotes are not from the Qur'an?

You also said: "Unfortunately Emile's material comes from sources that seem to have the truth as a second priority:"
That statement is very true, Mr. Norris, since my source is the Qur'an. Mohammad and his Qur'an definitely have truth as a second priority.

I hope you are not trying to disalow these words from Mohammad the false prophet?

I. THE Qur'an teaches: that Jesus is not the Son of God and declares a curse
on anyone who believes He is--meaning all Christians.

Sura IX: 30;
"...the Christians
Call Christ the son of God.
That is a saying from their mouth,
(in this) they but imitate
What the Unbelievers of old
Used to say. God's curse
Be on them: how they are deluded
Away from the Truth!"

Mr. Norris, in the light of this quote from the Qur'an, how can you say that "a Muslim by
definition is not against Christianity"? Are you deliberately trying to deceive Christians,
or are you just ignorant about the teachings of the Qur'an?

Christianity and the Holy Bible most definitely teach that Jesus is the Son of God!

II. The Qur'an teaches that Jesus was not crucified.

Sura IV:157
That they said in boast,
"We killed Christ Jesus
The son of Mary,
The Apostle of God";
But they killed him not,
Nor crucified him,

But so it was made
To appear to them,
and those who differ
Therein are full of doubts,
With no certain knowledge,
But only conjecture to follow,
For of a surety
They kiled him not:

Mr. Norris, in the light of this quote from the Qur'an, how can you say "Muslims are
not against Christianity" and that "one of the items of faith of a Muslim is to
believe in the Books and religions sent down by God. Judaism, Christianity, etc.
These were true messages sent from God to humanity."

Christianity and the Holy Bible most definitely teach that Jesus is the Son of God who
was crucified for the sins of mankind.

III. The Qur'an teaches that Jesus was not the divine Son of God but merely an
Apostle.

Sura IV:171
"..Christ Jesus the son of Mary
Was no more than
An apostle of God
,
And His Word,
Which He bestowed on Mary,
And a Spirit proceeding
From Him: so believe
In God and His apostles.
Say not "Trinity":desist:
I will be better for you :
For God is One God:
Glory be to Him:
Far Exalted is He above
having a son
.........

Again, Mr. Norris, in the light of these false and antichristian words from the Qur'an, how could
you nake these absurd and deceiving statements? Are you trying to deceive
Christians about the true teachings of Islam? Are you trying to sugar-coat Islam.
Islam is a false religion because it denies Jesus Christ as the Son of God who was Crucified for the sins of mankind.divine.

One Love , People Get Ready

One Love, One Heart
Let's get together and feel all right
Hear the children crying (One Love)
Hear the children crying (One Heart)
Sayin' give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right
Sayin' let's get together and feel all right

Let them all pass all their dirty remarks (One Love)
There is one question I'd really like to ask (One Heart)
Is there a place for the hopeless sinner
Who has hurt all mankind just to save his own?
Believe me

One Love, One Heart
Let's get together and feel all right
As it was in the beginning (One Love)
So shall it be in the end (One Heart)
Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right
One more thing

Let's get together to fight this Holy Armageddon (One Love)
So when the Man comes there will be no no doom (One Song)
Have pity on those whose chances grove thinner
There ain't no hiding place from the Father of Creation

Sayin' One Love, One Heart
Let's get together and feel all right
I'm pleading to mankind (One Love)
Oh Lord (One Heart)

Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right
