Charles and Don, Thanks for letting me vent. Your posts are supportive and reassuring. In for the long haul; heck, with this recent dive VOCLF isn't worth selling anyway...<ggg>

Regards, Dave

PS Don, The Delta Three response kinda confirms my fears that RSL is NOT using VOCLF gateways (bigger money) only their relatively small money Internet phone....

Management job is to make money for their stockholders - period. If they don't pay dividends then they must grow their stock price. If they can't do either, they should get the boot. Hard to do this when the insiders have majority control now isn't it, but I bet they make tons of money buying and selling at just the right time. They are just luck.

I love this, to paraphrase Vocaltec PR ...

"we might have some really big & important companies interested in our products but it is TOP secret, need-to-know. You understand, don't you." This is great, now that I know you are on "the short list with these secret interests, I feel much happier." "It is a shame that we must spend so much to get them to look at our great, unique and wonderful product, but that is the cost of our selling the best". I guess if you build a better mouse trap, they wont bust your door down.

How about this one, "We are the leader so everyone is taking shots at us." No, I think the market is ignoring Vocaltec. All you here today is references to Vocaltec being the company that started it all - sort of like the Radio Shack TRS80 of IP Telephony.

How about this one, "the analysts did not characterize our earnings report as "bad" after we explained to them how expensive it is to convince all the telchos how great are product is". Three straight quarters of basically flat growth when ip telephony has been in the headlines almost daily. No dividends, stock price is dropping and no prospects for the future that we are going to tell you about.
