Tom, the answer which occured to me while reading your post.. " I have found that the system, works with futures markets, but produces
inconsistent results with different stocks. Never been able to figure out why this is so.."

Stocks respond in a more stairstep fashion to news and company events... they have winning/losing moments followed by flatter trends between events.

With an index of many stocks the winning/losing moments don't all occur at the same time, individual stock events are spread into the flatter trends of other stocks, thus in aggregate they provide a more consistent base to analyze moving averages and other indicators with.

Hi Tom,

It has indeed been a while. I am doing well. I am about to take
a break from the markets soon though. The weather has
been too nice this year and the hours at work have been a
little long this year so far. I need a break to re-charge
the batteries.

Thanks for the clarification on your system.

I thought I saw a post on one of the threads that said
you are changing addresses from the West cost to the East
coast. Did you finally get tired of the lack of seasons?
I know someone that has lived in LA for over 10 years
and he still misses the seasons.

At least it should make it easier for you and
Options Jerry to settle your bet. I still haven't
figured out what a tasty cake is
though. It must be an American thing.

I posted Lachesis one or two other things that I could
remember about your system. You might take a look
to see that I am not too off base.

Regards

Harry
