Alan,

Thankyou for the kind explanation and your forecast of price movement.
I admitted that I bought MVEE with the intention of holding for a week or so then maybe selling on the good news, had I done that it would have been my shortest holding of a stock. So I would refute the statement made by another poster that I am a daytrader.

Thanks again Alan.

Regards, Thomas A. Burke

How to take a stock price down:

Okay, so we opened with some buying in the pipeline and the price was soon raised to .25 X .26...fair enough.

At this point we had traded 423,500 shares and on the ask side had two market makers at 26 cents. On the bid side we had two at 25 cents and two at 24 cents.

At this point, a single 5000 share sell order came in. They took it at the current 25 cents and that single trade knocked both market makers off the 25 cents bid, both off the 24 cent bid and now we sit at 23.5 cents bid. Both market makers came off the 26 cent ask side too and dropped to 25.5 cents. All this with one 5000 share sell order.

These guys are just unbelievably crooked!

Alan

Once again you need to remember that MM's only reflect the orders they get from the public other than taking small positions long or short depending on sentiment. You can't possibly blame the decline in the price of this stock on MM's as they merely reflect the relative anxiety between buyers and sellers. MM's aren't allowed by law to talk to each other or to the public about positions and certainly did not wake up one morning with the intent to knock a dime off the price of this stock. Stop whining and recognize that yes there were actually sellers in this stock which caused the stock price to decline yesterday. If you want to continue to believe there was some sort of conspiracy by MM's to move this market down via short sales then show up with a larger buy order than they have on the sell side and watch the stock go up. How would you describe that? That they have a conspiracy to take the stock up? Just my ever so humble opinion
sks1

Has "the time I jump in with both feet and buy all I can" arrived yet?
