To anyone. If MCI sells off all of their internet business (which I assume is the highest growth section of MCI) what is WCOM buying that is worth so much?

Teddy and all : thank u for the article which is assuring to the investors.

wcom is flat so far today. i am hopeful that the deal will get the blessing of the regulators in the next few days probably next week.

"If the average WorldCom share price
in the 20 days before closing falls below $41, the acquisition will be more
dilutive for WorldCom than if the price stayed above 41.."

If the deal gets the ok of the regulators, when does the deal close? or when does the 20 day period begin?

I would appreciate if anybody could answer this. Thanks in advance.

kind rgds
