drdan: The co2 capacity in a previous post was 2.5 times that of blood, is this something that could be harmful, I don't think this can be counter balanced by the additional o2 concentration; Although since it is in solution, the increase may not be damaging locally. I remember apollo 13 was in danger because of the slow build up of co2 in the cabin atmosphere. I can see olympic athletes using this instead of cell packing!!!
