SR, I agree that Clik! is speculative at this point but the real news is Compaq's adoption of zip. They have done an outstanding job of building a fine line of user friendly net boxes. Partnering with ISP's, including user friendly net keys, and the zip. And when their line starts selling well others will quickly take notice and follow or suffer by comparison.

Can the other box makers be far behind? I doubt it. I think zip is very close to being declared standard or standard/option by all the other major box makers.

If one of them were going to make a run on IOM now would be the time while they're down. Not later when Zip is declared the winner by all.

If we haven't bottomed out yet, I doubt we're far from it. And so we bottom out, what then? All the shorts cover and we go back up, of course. It's simply a matter of time before the steady adoption of zip internals provides the revenues to elevate the stock price. And with 6Sigma driving down production costs we have 2 important elements combining to return the company to profitability. When that happens IOM won't be such a great buyout candidate, will it?

There's a full court press going on to make Zip standard. The winner inherits a tremendous revenue stream that cannot be ignored by the street. We're paying the price right now but the payoff will justify it. Really, it's win or die. I think we'll win. And so evidently, does David Dunn.

[I'm thinking about replacing my slow 83 MHz computer and need to
know the best method of getting files from the old to the new. I have an **Iomega** tape drive (external), but that takes forever. I'm thinking of an **Iomega** Zip 100... do you have other options I should consider?

You can't go wrong ... Zip drives are something of a global standard in removable storage, and if there's any chance you're going to want to swap big files with others, Zip is a much stronger choice.]>>
