Because of Bircks comment at shareholders meeting that any attempt to take them over would be fought. I don't think CSCO would want to get involved in a hostile takeover. Having said that, everyone has their price, at say $100 a share it might get done and in my opinion it would be money well spent on CSCO's part. Since CSCO is selling at about 10x sales it wouldn't be dilutive to earnings much and the new company would be doing about 10 billion.
