Here are some of them...

Texas Instruments (TXN) 53 3/4 +2 7/8: BA Robertson Stephens analyst Dan Niles upgrades from "long-term attractive" to "buy" even though he cut 1998 earnings estimate from $2.10 to $1.80 per share; 199 earnings estimate was maintained at $3.00 per share....

Toys R Us (TOY) 23 9/16: Brown Brothers Hariman pulls a twist: they downgrade short-term from "buy" to "neutral" but also upgrade long-term from "neutral" to "buy".....

Hewlett-Packard Co. (HWP) 57 3/16 -1 5/16: Gruntal & Co. upgrades computer and printer maker and services concern from "buy" to "strong buy" but lowers earnings estimates; cuts FY98 EPS from $3.10 to $2.95 and FY99 from $3.90 to $3.80 a share.....

Now the inverse would be just as interesting.. for example (making this up on the fly..)

Aplize Corp. 23-23 1/2: Ogelthropre downgrades computer company from "strong buy" to "hold" but raises revenue and earnings estimates from 3.4 to 5 billion and earnings from 1.23 to 2.10 for next quarter.

I'm sure no one else sees the humor in this... back to work.
