<< People become like the god they worship. Christendom has spilt rivers of blood, sacrificing countless millions in religious wars continuing to this minute. She's a lurking place of demons and every unclean abomination. "By their fruits you shall know them." Spawn of Satan!>>

Then what about the billions of bloody animal sacrifices dedicated to God by the Children of Israel. And what about to all the nations they conquered, most of the time it was brutal. Does that mean they become like the god they worship? I think not.

Don,
The Word of God says that man was created in the likeness and image of God, it does not say that animals were. The likeness and image of God is that God is an eternal spirit, and so are we. The catholics did not "invent" that. It's the Word of God. There is a part of man that does not die and goes on after the fleshly body fails. That is in fact who we really are, not these fleshly bodies. Have you ever astro-projected out of your body? You are alive, apart from your body. After that you see your body in it's proper perspective.
