Joe,

If Briefing.com isn't careful they will get sued over something like that one of these days. The original statement made COMS looks very sinister and evil and could be construed as deformation of character (or whatever the corporate version of that is). In addition, if that in anyway contributed to todays drop in stock price, every shareholder should get a piece of the action.

I hate companies like this who report on "nothing" and just make-up whatever they want. Did you read my post about what I would do if I was CEO... now you see why.

Steve

Briefing.com ripped me a new A**hole today and taught me a very expensive lesson about the power of the internet.

This is editorial crap. They fabricate very negative motives concerning COMS earnings announcement and then after the bell they retract and perform a financial news equivalent of Rosanne Roseanna danna "never mind".

One writer's big ego combined with 3 Com's miscommunication and the stock drops 1 3/8 in minutes. Traders were forced to make an split second decision to sell or hold.

I sold, wrong decision........

Quit your whining. Briefing has been badmouthing COMS because they suck and they deserve it.

The drop from 35 to 25 is well-deserved too.
