Craig,

That is what I have been saying for some time now. If you can't sell the product, sell the company. I have e-mailed everyone with an address at Ancor expressing that concern. It absolutely amazes me that this management group has said nothing. Has anyone gone by the place lately? Perhaps there is a for sale sign in front of the building and the place is vacant. Isn't is the job of the captain to let the passenger and crew know when the boat is sinking? And if it isn't sinking, you calm everyone by telling them that it isn't. To date, the only thing this management team has proven is that they are worse than the last. IMO

"Since we have nothing better to do than speculate, what do you think about Adaptec as
a possible suitor?"

At the risk of invoking Steve's wrath (no buyout discussions)- an Adaptec buyout would have great potential. Adaptec was also looking for an FC company - their Symbios acquisition failed and they have a lot of cash for R & D. They could also offer SOA adapters and switches. They are looking for more high margin business and FC is a good complement to high end SCSI.
