There have been 30 deaths reported after 2.5 million prescriptions. That's about 1 death in 100,000. Most men, if they had to decide between not having sex and a 1 in 100,000 chance of dying would choose the latter. The most the FDA will do is tell PFE to change their label to warn against taking Viagra with some other drugs. The reports of 30 deaths is not a controlled study; it is possible that the 30 men would have died anyway.

VLAD,
The death rate of persons taking Viagra is less than the general population in the same age group. Perhaps it prolongs life in some.
Not everyone taking nitrates and Viagra is affected adversly so the study now is to discover what the connection is. Don't look for this drug to be pulled from the market, it's not gonna happen.
