Well, I followed it back to this,,,,,

"Stranger In A Strange Land".... this something that might interest me? I frequent used bookstores often....

But I pose a question to you. Are you familiar with or have you read(I suppose with translations and commentaries) much of the Gita?

We are in the spiritual thread correct? :)

Lady Croc,

No. They have been packed away as are all my worldly possesions in anticipation of my becoming a shiftless no good to society, wandering vagrant (call it a mid life crisis). Tedious personal items have kept me tied to this geographical spot up to this point but things are progressing. The chronicles are packed with my easy to get at on the road valuables. I browsed the books after buying them and the journey through them strike me as a perfect companion to a journey across physical land. I am saving them and intend to enjoy them thoroughly as an inner travelogue of the places I intend to go.

It is wonderful of you to break the long silence here. However I will not be drawn into any interesting conversations as I am studiously exploring the state "to be bored" and I'm sure you would rather me not inflict it on you.
Having said that, hey August...

affectionately,
ghunk

My Lady,

I thought I should add (seeing I implied some purist and romantic notion of wild and free wunderlust unencumbered by the evils of society) I will be utilizing all forms of modern transportation and exploiting the benefits of high technology (screaming laptop and internet) all in the pursuit of business, research and pleasure.
