I sent a message to Jill about a month ago requesting an Ignore feature as you are describing, except that I suggested that the Ignore feature apply to posts that are From the offensive member as well as posts that are To that same member, since most retorts to the offensive member are equally useless and annoying. Jill promptly replied the their "programmer, Brad" told her that there will be no such feature. So maybe we need to continue to press this issue. Nothing would improve SI more than a member-controlled Ignore feature !!
