lazzare,
I am disappointed in you. In spite of your values, you are still supporting the propaganda of the socialists. Perhaps your core values are not as you stated, but instead you are a true socialist at heart.

In reference to your article, the appointment of Chief justice Earl Warren was the worst mistake made by the Eisenhower administration. Judge Warren started an era where judges "created" law instead of simply Interpreting and enforcing it. Was this liberally interpreted "created law" constitutional since it was not enacted by representatives elected by the people? I think not. It did perpetuate the concept of an "engineered society" which was initially started by a Socialist Democratic President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Btw, lazzare, the Libertarian National convention is being convened in Wash., DC. I understand that Neal Boortz is addressing this convention at approximately 2 PM today. This is supposed to be broadcast by C-Span. I suggest you watch and listen. You might learn something. (Remember, he is a former liberal democrat.)

In case you miss it, see this site: boortz.com

>>As Clinton matures into a master of foreign affairs, the Pepperdine Dough Boy and his ilk transform themselves further into a pack of dangerous buffoons:

One of your best jokes so far, Bizarre! The "master" of Waco lectures others on human rights. The "master" caves in to his real MASTERS on Taiwan for NOTHING except that they own him.

Clinton is a disgrace and is ridiculed throughout the world. His supporters cling to him to keep the criminal conspiracy known as his administration in power.

Clinton will never mature into anything but but he already is: the corrupt leader of a corrupt party. Here's what the Washington Post says about your "master of foreign affairs"

Siding With the Dictators

Thursday, July 2, 1998; Page A20

THE OUTLINES OF a deal are beginning to emerge. China gives President
Clinton air time for his speech. Mr. Clinton says what China wants to hear
on Taiwan. Then, in classic Clinton fashion, the White House tries to have
things both ways, denying that U.S. policy has changed when in fact it has,
and not for the better.

Past administrations recognized the Beijing government as the legitimate
government of China and "acknowledged" China's position with regard to
Taiwan. But "acknowledge" did not mean "accept." The ultimate fate of
Taiwan was something for Taiwan and China to work out, peacefully.
Beyond that, the United States deliberately left its policy shrouded in
ambiguity.

But recently officials of the Clinton administration have explicitly adopted a
"three no's" formula much more pleasing to the Communist Chinese: no
support for one Taiwan-one China; no support for Taiwan independence; no
support for Taiwan membership in international organizations such as the
United Nations. Now Mr. Clinton has given that policy a presidential stamp
of approval -- and on Chinese soil, to boot.

Why does it matter? Because Taiwan's 21 million people have forged a
prosperous democracy over the past decades. There is no justification for
the United States to oppose their right eventually to determine their own
future. It would be fine for U.S. officials to reiterate that such a
determination must take place peacefully and to encourage TaiwanChina
dialogue. It would be fine for U.S. officials to warn Taiwan not to expect
U.S. support for a unilateral declaration of independence. What's not fine is
for the United States at this time to rule out independence or any other
option the Taiwanese people eventually might choose.

When China threatened Taiwan militarily in 1996, Mr. Clinton responded
with admirable resolve. But now he is trading away the human rights of
Taiwan's 21 million people and sending an unfortunate signal to other
democracies that might hope to rely on U.S. moral support.

As a practical matter, he's also significantly weakening Taiwan's bargaining
power if and when Taiwan and China begin negotiations. China's main card
always has been the threat of force; Taiwan's has been its campaign to
establish sovereignty through membership in world organizations and other
means. By explicitly and needlessly slamming the door on that campaign,
Mr. Clinton has sided with the dictators against the democrats. To pretend
this is no change only heightens the offense.

So Clinton sells out millions for 15 seconds of PR on Totalitarian TV. Your vile views and corrupt prez are antithetical to the meaning of July 4th.

The White House Admits Pulling the Tripp File

The Washington Weekly
July 5th , 1998 Marvin Lee

Terry Good , head of the White House Office of Records Management , last week admitted that he had been ordered by the Office of White House Counsel to pull the file of Linda Tripp , after the Lewinsky story broke in January .

The admission was made under oath during a deposition by Larry Klayman ( of Judicial Watch ) . " There appears to be a concerted effort by the Clinton administration to use government files to harm and intimidate perceived grand jury witnesses , " stated Larry Klayman . The files of Kathleen Willey and Monica Lewinsky were pulled , as well .

Linda Tripp did testify before the grand jury last week , but not before her name had been smeared in the New Yorker magazine . The author of that article , Jane Mayer , claims she received the information from Tripp ' s personnel records at the Pentagon . But , as Tony Snow has pointed out , that the language Mayer quoted in her article does not square with the language appearing on the Pentagon forms . This suggests that the White House could be the source of the information instead , a speculation now further substantiated by the testimony of Terry Good .

A subpoena by Judicial Watch has revealed that James Carville receives documents from the White House , as well as from the DNC . One email from Eric Berman , at the DNC , to Glen Weiner , then working for Carville , conveys the product of a detailed investigation into the background of House Judicial Committee Chairman Henry Hyde. Henry Hyde will be chairing any impeachment proceeding against the President , and it seems that the White House and the DNC are preparing for that possibility , by collecting dirt on Hyde . It will Carville ' s job to throw it on the fan when he receives the word " go " from the White House .

lazzare, This is dictatorial. (In case you can't decipher that for yourself.) What do you think now????

THE IMPERIAL PRESIDENCY
Clinton to govern by executive order
Plans to bypass Congress with blitz of unilateral actions

This is the first of an on-going series of news stories examining the grab for executive power by the Clinton White House through the use of executive orders and presidential directives.
By Joseph Farah

President Clinton, who has issued far more sweeping executive orders than any of his recent predecessors, plans a new blitz during the next few weeks in an effort to bypass Congress with a bold, and questionably constitutional, law-making strategy.

His first unilateral strike in the new campaign came -- ironically -- on Independence Day. He announced in his weekly radio address a new federal regulation requiring warning labels on containers of fruit and vegetable juices that have not been pasteurized. After that initiative, Clinton will take executive actions later in the week that are intended to increase the federal government's role in health care and the issue of juvenile crime, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. While not as sweeping as some other recent executive orders issued with little fanfare, and reported exclusively in WorldNetDaily, Clinton's new proposals are intended to send a signal to Congress that he does not fancy himself a lame duck as he approaches the midway point of his second term.

"He's ready to work with Congress if they will work with him," Rahm Emanuel told the Times. "But if they choose partisanship, he will choose progress," said the senior policy adviser to the president.

The power to issue executive orders originally was intended to give presidents rule-making authority over the executive branch. But some, like Clinton, have used it instead for sweeping public policy decisions. While some constitutional scholars question this use, Congress has not batted an eye over Clinton's recent actions, including Executive Order 13083, which overrode an earlier order by President Reagan reaffirming the 10th Amendment powers of states and and the rights of individuals.

Clinton's order, issued May 14 and reported in WorldNetDaily last month, lists nine "exceptions" under which the powers of the states and people could be abrogated by the federal government in direct conflict with the 10th Amendment. No member of Congress took exception to the order during the first 30-day comment period during which the House and Senate had the power to overrule it.

Following the report in WorldNetDaily last month, the White House removed any reference to Executive Order 13083 from the library's Web site. However, thought it is no longer listed among the documents available to the public, it can still be viewed at that site or on WorldNetDaily's new archive of government documents.
