Could someone tell me please,why isn't Brocade hamstrung by NDA requirements the way Ancor seems to be? Is it just one of the "advantages" of being a public company?

Actually, I don't think that this is what the ad is getting at. It is saying that switching scales better and gives you much greater aggregate bandwidth than FC-AL. Plenty of people currently care about FCAL, and there are currently many high end storage devices with built in FCAL loops.

a. someone other than an Ancorite thinks there is potential for storage vendors to make money off a FC switched fabric?

b. another page is written in the FC/Ancor saga (albeit by Brocade--at least the story is being told by someone!)?
