Right now they want $100 for one yr membership and $200 for lifetime. Earlier this year, it was $100 for lifetime.

You got in for free because you created it. What good was SI when it consisted of 100 posters? Well some, but hardly big bucks. And who knew whether it would take off, as opposed to some other site??

It was a very smart business model. The move now to anual, or monthly subscriptions makes lots of sense.
